As we head into the holiday season, we have an update on what's happening at QSL Comms.
Availability
Radios continue to be a problem in terms of getting them out of China, with a very large shipment of ours stuck in customs due to Covid lockdowns and the resultant backlog. There seems to be a particular issue with bigger shipments to Australia attracting undue attention. As a result, we have removed these products from sale on the website for the time being. We have a sea shipment in progress and are also looking at smaller airfreight orders as a way of fulfilling current orders which are our priority.
New Fulfillment method.
Over the next few weeks, you will notice a new range of products that will be shipping direct from the manufacturer. We have tried this in recent weeks and it's taking 1-2 weeks to get to our customers. Products sent this way will have no freight charges and will be cheaper than if we supplied them from our warehouse. Customers will receive shipment advice and tracking details normally same day 7 days a week unless there is a holiday in Asia, which means we can ship over Christmas for these items.
Shipping Delays
I would like to apologize for customers for delays in getting things out the door, we have ongoing transport issues since returning from hamfests down south over the last three months and this has impacted our warehouse operations. We expect this to be fixed next week. In the new year as a result of work on our systems and the transport woes being solved, we aim to ship same day if the order is placed by 2PM.
Specials/Clearance
We have a number of products we are clearing out at 40% off if you use Paypal, pricing on the website is before discount.
Connectors are also on specials for a week, with the sale price indicated online, no code required.
